Shachi Dalal

I operate from a strong foundation of ethics and evidence-based interventions, whilst being sensitive to the client’s subjective experience.

About Me
My curiosity about the workings of the human mind, and a quest for discovering “why” we humans are the way we are, led me to the field of psychology. While I have embarked on my own journey of discovering the “why”, I have also had the privilege of being a co-passenger on the multiple journeys undertaken by my clients over the years. As they tread either calm or choppy waters, I believe my role as a therapist is to be a safe container for them to process emotions and experiences; a navigator of sorts, as I often help them connect with their inner guidance; and a supportive audience as I watch them weave a healthy and rich tapestry of their lives - a cumulation of their learnings and experiences.
I provide psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults. I employ an integrated approach, drawing from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Person-centred Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I operate from a strong foundation of ethics and evidence-based interventions, whilst being sensitive to the client’s subjective experience.
